![]() Now on Quora (I know its a bad place to find information) people said that it is very possible for that to happen, however, none of them provided any proof or any examples so I thought that the information was completely wrong and I posted on Reddit (r/asktechnology) and one guy said something as a joke and the other I had a little conversation with. I found out that it is in fact possible for them so I called the IT technician to ask him and he said that in his career he had never seen a virus spread through wifi. Now here is where the MacBook comes into play. ![]() Then I got a bit curious and I did some research and I posted on Reddit a few times for different topics but I was suspicious for some reason for a virus (don't know why, to be honest) and I started searching since I heard that viruses could spread through wifi. Now this is TERRIBLE news to hear since I had some transactions made on this laptop so this really had me scared, but Bitdefender got rid of the trojan and all the other detections (I don't know where they came from, probably downloaded a mod for Minecraft or something else back 2 years ago). Then for my birthday, I got Bitdefender total security 2020 and that found 9 detections two of which were false positives, however, one of them scared the living ghosts out of me. Malwarebytes took care of them but I was suspicious. I got a family technician to help me with this we scanned my mac with Malwarebytes and what do you know, 9 detections. ![]() ![]() One day I was worried that my MacBook (will be needed later in the story) got infected with some sort of malware. I have searched so much for the answer to this question, however, I got quite a few different answered so I would trust and some I would call bs upon seeing them.
